SUMMER CAMP 2K19

 

IES Public School believes in practical, hands on learning experiences necessary for discovering talent and enhancing confidence. Summer camps at IES Public School are designed to provide students with intensive, enriching, experiences that foster open creative expression and help the students gain confidence in a safe supportive environment.  Summer camp 2K19 got off to a glorious start, which witnessed participation by children from various schools of Bhopal for undertaking activities like Dance, Music, Personality Development, Creative Art and outdoor activities like Basketball, Swimming, Martial Art and Cricket. These Summer days spent making new friends while learning desired skills, will enrich the camp experience.


IES students Win Behes Interschool Debate Tournament

 

A new day begins with new thoughts, new strength and endless possibilities, hence, to enlighten and train the students school hosted Behes Interschool Debate Tournament on 20 & 21 April. The stage exuded zeal and vitality of the participants. Their awareness, spontaneity and confidence mpressed one and all. Champions Trophy of Cubs Division was won by IES Ratibad branch and Runner Up Trophy was bagged by IES Sehore. Champions Trophy, Lions Division was won by Bal Bhawan School and Runner Up by St.Xavier School. Medals for best speakers were won by Sagar Public school, Bal Bhawan School and IES Public School. This event helped students to exhibit their debating talent in good spirit. Dr Sunita Singh congratulated all the participants and promised to continue hosting such events for the development of students.


Academic Award Ceremony 2018-19

 

Academic Award Ceremony@ IES Public School,Bhopal Education is a student’s passport to success. AT IES, we ensure that students are trained for an unknown, uncertain future by preparing for it today. In this pursuit for excellence, encouragement and motivation is a must, and this was provided through the Academic Awards Ceremony for students from Classes I to IX on 16th April 2019. Over two hundred students and parents were present on the occasion. It commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp to invoke the blessings of Godess Saraswati. Principal Madam delivered the welcome address which opened with a quote by Theodore Roosevelt “Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” A fascinating Puppet Dance by Primary students received cheers from the audience and an impassionate speech by an Eighth Grader touched the loving hearts of the parents of all the student achievers. IES Group Chairman, Er. B.S.Yadav gave away the Trophies and Medals to the deserving young scholars amidst applauses and accolades. IES Group Director, Dr Sunita Singh congratulated all the achievers and wished them success for future achievements, with the hope that they in turn will inspire and motivate the rest to realize their potential.


Cyber Crime Seminar

 

Cyber Crime Seminar @ IES Public School. A very informative and interactive seminar was conducted today for High School students by Resource person, Mr. Abishek Sonekar. Cyber Crime Inspector Abhishek Sonekar who has grabbed many awards, Aantrik suraksha padak, Durgam sewa padak govt. of India for serving in Naxal affected area in MP, Durgam sewa padak. He has also declared as Cyber cop of the year 2018 by DATA SECURITY COUNCIL OF INDIA. His PPT presentation facilitated the students understanding of Cyber Crime, the What/How/When etc. Students got to know the difference between Ethical and Unethical Hacking, they expanded their knowledge about Cyber Crime with the help of the light thrown on various aspects along with inputs about the methodology, experiences of victims, especially youngsters, in the age group 12-20 years. Students learnt to excercise caution while surfing on internet and this was the prime reason school conducted this seminar. It was informative and fruitful seminar as it dealt with the raging concern of parents, teachers and society as a whole.


Diplomathon Session

 

Diplomathon Session @ IES Public School,Bhopal. On 10th April 2019 IES Students of Classes VI & VII attended an interactive Orientation Program on Diplomathon. It was a prestigious moment to have the Vice-president of Diplomathon Mr. Chintan B. Rajal to fecilitate the program. It was an eye-opener and highly interactive session for the students to understand the need to have good International Relations amongst countries. In M.P. only thirty-three schools are benefited with this theme based students\' conference, and IES School is one of them. Diplomathon 2019 is organising two days Students\' Conference on April 27 and 28, 2019. Participating students will get an opportunity to listen and interact with State Head Dr.Nilesh Deshpande from United Nations.


Achievers Win Laurels

 

Achievers Win Laurels @ IES Public School, Bhopal. A leader resides within each child, all that is needed is the right opportunity!  The Outstanding Achievers of IES Public School and IES College were felicitated on 29th March by Chief Guest, Smt.Jayshri Kiyawat, Commissioner and Project Director, Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan along with Guests of Honour, Shri Dhirendra Chaturvedi, Joint Director DPI, Bhopal and Shri Dharmendra Sharma- District Education Officer, Bhopal at a Prize Distribution ceremony organised at school. Among the felicitated students, Pranav Jain was honoured for securing First Rank in NTSE at Bhopal, Harsh Gupta for winning at a Poster Competition at Meteorological Centre, in Sports, Praneet Yadav was awarded for his Gold Medal at National Open Mallakhamb Championship, Aryan Sen for his achievements in International Open Fencing Championship at Nasik. IES Group Director, Dr Sunita Singh congratulated all the achievers and wished them success for future achievements.

 

 


Career Counselling by Dr. Anjula Siddharth

 

Career Counselling by Dr. Anjula Siddharth @ IES Public School,Bhopal. Dr. Anjula, a member of College of Psychologists at New Burnswick, Canada conducted a very informative and interactive session for High school students. It began with a quote,\" I\'ve decided to be happy because it is good for my health.\" Students of Classes VIII, IX and X were explained about emotional intelligence, treatment of depression, anxiety, etc which lead to personality disorders. This helped them realize the importance of being happy, judicious use of time and taking charge of their lives and future. The students listened attentively, participated keenly and cleared their queries. The session proved very helpful and informative for the teenagers and Dr Sunita Singh thanked the International expert for her valuable inputs.

 

 


Visit to Meteorological Centre

 

Visit to Meteorological Centre @ IES Public School,Bhopal. The Meteorological Department (MET Department) is an agency of the Ministry of Earth Sciences of the Government of India which is responsible for meteorological observations, weather forecasting and seismology. It has the responsibility for weather forecasting, naming and distribution of warnings for tropical cyclones and climatic issues. Students of IES Public School were taken on an educational visit to Meteorological Department, where they were made aware of the different measuring instruments and their working process such as Rain Gauge, Air Temperature Sensor, Thermograph and Stevenson screen.They also participated in the Quiz and Poster making competition for school students, in which Shreya Jain(X) Kratika Agarwal (X) and Nidhi Nahar (X) bagged prizes.Thus IMD through its various activities plays a significant role in creating awareness about importance of climate and weather. IES Group Dir, Dr Sunita Singh congratulated the winners and appreciated the school\'s regular training module on General Awareness along with the student\'s efforts that ensured success.


Inter School Skating Competition

 

Inter School Skating Competition @ IES Public School, Bhopal Inter School Skating Competition was held on Sunday, 17th June, 2019 at the Skating Ring of the Sports Complex at IES Public School, Bhopal. The vigor and enthusiasm of approximately 250 participants along with their cheering friends and family members was the hallmark of this event. Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals were won by girls and boys in Hyper, Tenacity and squads races in the age group of 4-16 years. Over 50 Gold medals, 45 Silver medals, and 38 Bronze medals were bagged by the talented participants. Mrs. Sapna Malviya, Dean Admin, IES Group, motivated the students with her inspiring words and encouraged them to maintain their determination and focus on achieving their goals.
